Born of the spirit of union and shared objectives, Naturtejo is the entity that promotes the "Geopark Naturtejo da Meseta Meridional (of southern upland)", which integrated the municipalities of Castelo Branco,Idanha-a-Nova, Nisa, Oleiros, Proença-a-Nova and Vila Velha de Ródão. From the region "Raia" to "Beira Interior", through Pinhal Interior to Alto Alentejo, this is an area of high tourism potential and numerous attraction factors. Due to its vast and homogeneous region Geopark Naturtejo offers a wide range of tourism products, having in common as an added value the nature and the excellent infrastructures. All to satisfy the needs and demands of every kind of visitors.
